This is one of my first Logo Designs after I graduated in Graphic Design. This was a very special ocasion, and one of those moments that you are uber inspired. The process of creating this logo was very easy and pleasant, although very unusual. It happenend in 2006, my girlfriend was on her last period in Fashion Design and she wanted to do a Fashion Magazine for her final exam. At the meantime, I had just got a new PowerBook G4, for a test drive, to see if I liked it. Indeed it was a very good computer.
Ok, no more lazy talk, let’s talk about the logo itself. In my creative process, I use lots of different ways to get to the final version of a logo. In this case the only concept I had in mind was that the logo had to be light. I had a nice typeface called Oneloda, since the typeface was not very modern, although unusual and still light, I started to cut the serifs out, and merge the “I” and the “R”. Here is a picture of how the process went.
After that we created and edited the whole magazine, with 42 pages, 4 fashion editorials, and some nice stuff.
