A very nice publication. I’m a big fan of the green iniciative, cause afterall, if we just stop wasting so much, the world would be better.
I’m a mac lover. I’ve been using Macs since I got my Quadra 605. OS9 Classic was much better than Windows, but not much prettier. I’ve used PCs for games only since then, and I hate it. After OSX, many things have changed, it;s all beautifull now, with cool animations, and all. I’m using Leopard right now, and I love it. There is one thing that I’m deeply disapointed with Apple. I use a 10 year-old Logitech mouse on my Macbook Pro, and it works great. I have used the Apple Mice ( wireless and wired versions ) at least 2 of each recent models, and all of them are malfunctioning. The Same feature of the mouse doesn’t survive the heavy use. That tiny awesome ball that scrolls for every side you want. It just stops working. It has happenned with 4 units until now.
The mouse is beautifull, but can’t survive heavy daily use. Logitech can survive for 10 years. Without a scratch.
2 years ago I used to live in my home city. That city is over saturated with good designers, and there aren’t many clients around, even less clients were willing to pay the deserved amount of money that our design was worth. So we all used to have the same problem. Underpriced designs. This movie showed me that this issue is not a local issue, but a global one. I’m not alone.
